Before you can do the yoga exercise for losing weight, you have to make preparation. The preparation is pretty simple because you only need yoga mat or space which is covered with carpet. Warming up is necessary before starting the yoga exercise. Warming up session should be done for five minutes. Each position should be held at least for five slow and even breath. It means that you should count to five for every inhale and another five for every exhale. You should lengthen the spine while inhaling and sink to deeper pose while exhaling. There are some poses which can be useful for losing weight. Chair pose will be useful for training stamina, coordination, as well as balance. For doing this position, you should stand with the feet placed together and the arms at your sides. You can inhale and then exhale as the knees are bent. The hips should be shifted back just like sitting position in a chair. The arms should be stretched overhead and do not forget to contract the abs for supporting the back. Give pressure into the feet and take about 5-10 breaths before back to stand up position slowly.

The next position which will be useful for losing weight is seated forward bend. This position will help you calm your mind so you can be free from stress. Spinal tension can be released by doing sage position. Last but not least, you can do bridge pose which can help you release the tension and at the same time improve your body flexibility. Every pose should be done correctly including the breathing exercise rule
